The rib rack allows you to fit more ribs withing the smoking chamber, while the riser doubles your cooking area so that you can cook twice as much food. The mesh screen helps you cook smaller items like nuts that would normally fall through the smoking rack. To assemble the riser place the tabs from one of the corner pieces into the large portion of the holes on another corner piece. Slide the tabs down until the fit snly into the narrower portion of the holes. Repeat this process until all of the corners are connected. Place the riser on top of the KitchenQue base and place the food you want to smoke inside. Place the lid on top and cook according to your recipe instructions. Place rib rack on top of smoking grate. Place ribs in the vertical s and smoke according to your recipe. To use the screen place on top of the drip pan, add vegetables or other small items on the screen and cook according to your recipe. All parts are dishwasher safe. If residue has accumulated inside the lid, use a scour pad. Do not use a scour pad on painted outside of unit as it may scratch. WARNING: METAL PARTS GET HOT!
